blox cams
I don't think it will 'kill' the engine by running them unless you have clearance issues. However, if you use them on a stock compression ratio you are going to lose torque all across the rpm band so there is no point in running them. Bigger does not equal better.
arn't the primary lobes the same as stock?
It would help if you gave us enough information to actually provide an accurate answer - which block? If you are running an LS with a b16 head, then no, those are not the best cams for you. If you are running a B18C5 short block, then they would work fine with a tune and the appropriate supporting mods.

However, most of the time, for a daily driver, you are going to be better off with something like a BC3+. On a mild B16, that is always my first choice. It has a great mid-range and will make good power all the way to redline.
Don't skimp - upgrade your valve springs.
Beat of luck with your project.
You can actually run fairly large cams in a b16 if (1) it is built to rev high, (2) you have all the right supporting mods and (3) you have a real engine management system.

I just want to optimize a little the performance. Without compromising driving on a daily basis.
