like the guy above said go GSR or LS block. I have had a boosted b16 and boosted lsv and loved the 1.8 way more. spools the turbo faster and get you in the RPMs you want for a fast boost car better. just my .02

ive had a gsr i didnt like it i had a small t3/t4 turbo it didnt hit full boost until 6100 after vtec kicked in. vtec was set at 8800.

this car will be tuned by mase again. if its fully built he'll take it til the powerband starts to drop but also keep it in a safe rpm.

I have a REALLY hard time believing anything you are saying. a "small t3/t4 turbo" will not hit full boost at 6100rpm unless you are running like 30psi, seriously. The turbo you mention in this setup would be spooled up by 5800, 6000 tops. mine was in full boost by 4600rpm, and that was at 14 psi on a 54 trim.
ALSO vtec set at 8800? WTF? whoever tuned that car is on crack cause setting vtec over 6k is pretty much worthless and will not benefit the performance of the motor.

I feel like you are trying to defend your b16 even though people have told you otherwise, which is fine, but dont defend the b16 with false facts. ANYONE who deals with boost motors knows the 1.8 is a better choice in all areas. Why do you think so many guys run 800+whp LS/vtec setups instead of b16's? the displacement is key in a turbo motor.

I didn't see a LSD in your build. Are you going to 1-wheel spin into the 10s?

No leaks it's just how laggy that turbo was. Like on my dyno sheet u see the curve start at vtec then it shoots up at 6100.
