Default blown strut. skunk 2 pro s

I took off my rear skunk 2 pro s struts today so i could replace some bushings. I noticed that both them are blown or weak. ( can put the strut down EASY and slowly comes back up)

anyone know where/if i can get them rebuild? or how much it costs for new replacement ones (if they offer that service)

arrgg just fustrated. Im going to look into a different suspension set up soon

Weird cuz mines are the same. After a year with them they shot to hell. If you buy replacements I think you have to buy all 4. JHPUSA.com sells them.

Why wait? It's gonna cost more to rebuild than to buy new suspension.

wont be until next winter so i need something for this summer. My spare money has been dropped into my k20a2 turbo build for the summer. so if it was 300 bucks to get 2 rebuilt or new then i would do that.

thats not a sign of shocks being "blown". you might have lost some nitrogen pressure but thats not "blown" or will affect the shock much.

whats REALLY a problem is when you push down and the shock just sits there... and by then you should notice theres oil/fluid all over the inside of your wheel well.

that very well could be. i can push down pretty easy and it takes some time before it comes back up. they look like they could be rebuildable..

Your shock compresses and rebounds? and it's blown? this makes no sense.

it compresses... yes... but i can do it with my pinky finger. Usually a good strut, it takes some effort to compress the strut alone.

and it will rebound VERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRY slow.. like im saying i walk away and come back 5 minutes later and it will be completly back to where it started.

ya beens over 2 summers so far, so warranty is only covered for 1 year. which really i think its ridiculous, especially since i drive my car 5 months of the year and on weekends.
