Starting issues
so i attempted to put a turbo kit on, turns out the manifold is for a d series.
all that i did to prep was:
change out ecu to a p28 (disconnected battery terminal before i did anything)
removed fuel rail/injectors
removed headers, downpipe, and front o2 sensor
put on a resistor box
i put everything back together exactly how it was, and now it cranks, but wont start.
it used to crank as long as i held the ignition, but recently it only cranks for about a second and then just fires (unless i press the gas pedal then it cranks normally again)
i checked for spark (good)
it gets fuel up to the fuel rail
everything is plugged back in
checked fuses
the only thing thats different is where you connect the resistor box, i took the wires (where your supposed to solder the resistor box wire to the yellow wires) off.
heres a picture if you're confused.

i tried wiring the yellow wires together but that didnt work either.
only other thing i can think of is the combustion chamber is filled with fuel so it wont ignite?
its got to be something not a big issue, because before i took things apart it ran perfectly.
been out of a car for 2 weeks, so i need to get this thing going. thanks

Take out your spark plugs to let any unburnt fuel evaporate then try starting it again. It sounds like a wiring problem to me after reading your information.
