okay i tried an obd2 ls integra distributor......people were tellin me that all i would have to do is cut off one of the ears/legs the one by the vtec solenoid and that this would work. well i got one from a buddy that was good, and it already had the ear cut off of it. went to go put it on and only the top leg meets up. the one that is at the 7 o'clock position isn't lining up. so what's going on here, i was told that ls integra dizzy would fit and it isn't. took the igniter out and put it in my dizzy and it's still throwing a code 9. any suggestions or input is definately welcomed.

 

When you go ghetto by cutting off one distributor leg, only one is going to bolt up, the second one isn't going to line up and the third one will obviously be missing. The ignitor isn't the reason for the cylinder position code either, so that was a waste of time swapping out.
