turbo z6 not building boost
I have a 88 hatch with a z6 swap. car ran great all summer, just recently turboed it with a t3/t4. All the vaccum lines are hooked up, ic pipings are double clamped also used hair spray on couplers. Turbo to manifold is tight with gasket, and manifold to head is tght with gasket. I have a open three inch downpipe. I can hear the turbo start to spool but my boost gauge bounces all over the place and stays around zero. The BOV opens and some air is released but the BOV is now blowing off. I swapped out the wastegate for a 38mm tial and it made no difference. Ive never had this problem. any suggestions?
Wastegate working properly?

Only other things I can figure is your core is broken and charge side isn't spinning
You have a coupler disconnected
BOV is stuck open.

the turbo sounds as if it is spooling. you can hear the the spool through the exhaust, the welds on the intercooler looked fine. and im sure if i did have a leaky pipe i would still get some kind of boost. This really makes no sense to me as i have tripple checked everything. The turbo kit is brand new. granted its ebay untill my turbonetics turbo is rebuilt. i rotated my bov facing up and i could see the valve opening and closed based on vaccum. all the couplers and pipings were just hairsprayed and tightened today. Im to the understanding its not effected by the wastegate as i was changing the jdm sport to the tial 38mm and neither of them made a difference.
