Dashbar and window net needed in 10 point cage NHRA?
This is what I found.
On all cars requiring a roll cage, if the OEM firewall has been
modified (in excess of 1 square foot for transmission removal, not
including bolted in components) a lower windshield or dash bar of 1
1/4 x .058-inch 4130 chromoly or 1 1/4 x .118-inch mild steel is
mandatory connecting the forward cage supports.

and be sure window net tabs are mounted center line of pipe, or inside of pipe on driver side, not supposed to be mounted on outside, incase, door flys off, car rolls, could rip off tabs, and rip of net. Just what the local nhra inspector told me.
goodluck!

Trap speed defiantly matters to the NHRA guys, we got booted many times for mph (when the car had a 6 pt). we even tried just running the car out to the 1/8th so we wouldn't break the rules. Turns out there is an 1/8th mph limit as well and we were braking it.
Window nets do not expire. Last year, nhra came out with a rule amendment stating they have to be renewed every 2 years (just like harnesses) but they threw it out the window mid last year
A dash bar is not mandatory if you are running the factory firewall (non modified).
