Fuel efficient ?
I recently changed my oil and tune up my car on a 94 civic dx. My car still eats alot of gas.
I put bosh spark plug, tsudo spark plug wire and new oil. My timing is correct. Can a bad fuel filter or fuel pump cause my car to eat alot of gas. I'm planning on changing my injectors and fuel pressure regulator to a new one. I'm gonna buy a adjustable fuel pressure regulator and just wanted to know is it good to buy it or just buy a stock pressure regulator?

What about O2 sensor? But fpr is up to you. There is nothing better than oem honda, we all love them for a reason, although if you plan on building the engine in the future you might think about upgrading now so you can adjust the fuel later on.
Definitely consider the O2. Dirty injectors won't atomize the fuel correctly and a spray won't be nearly as good as a fine mist. You could take yours out and soak them in some injector cleaner or send them out to get cleaned.
The fuel pressure regulator is a solid state device, there's not much that can go wrong with it. There's not much reason to mess with it unless your injectors aren't capable of flowing the proper amount of fuel at the pressure they're running at now. Even then, it's not advised to run them too much higher than stock because that can make them unreliable.
If you want to check if yours is ok, get a gauge or swap out for another stock one. I know I and a hundred others here have stock ones sitting in a tool chest right now.
The fuel filter can cause poor fuel economy I believe.
A bad cap and rotor could cause poor ignition
Do you have any codes?

only thing that can go wrong with FPRs is the diaphragm inside it breaks down and won't work as well.
i had a fpr wipe out 2 of my fuel pumps cuz i initially thought thats what was wrong since it made the supercharger noise.
besides whatwas said try gettin some ngks back in. ive heard alot of bosh sucks on a honda.

I already have a new o2 sensor. probably my injectors are clog or clog fuel filter or bad distr. rotor and cap. I will change all of it soon when i get the money.
First of all what is your gas mileage of your dx??? Do you have air conditioner if you do you turn it on it will eat more gas because with the dx motor when you have the AC on it will be weak *** hell and always have to give it a heavy foot throttle to get the car going.
