si rear disc conv on a 98 civic ex coupe!
so i bought my rear disc conv about a month and a half ago from a fellow member here on h-t. 1st, i did what most do, alot of research!
discouraged by what other members had posted and said i kept putting it off since my drum brakes worked just fine. but today, figuring i had all day to work on em i decided to finally try it.
from start to finish, which included swapping trailing arms and brake lines (no e brake cables for now) and my front brakes it took me about 3 and a half hrs. to finish. mostly because the front screws that hold the rotors (2 little phillips screws on each side) were so0o hard to take off! i probably spent a good 45 mins on em.
well i just went for a test drive and they work like a charm! not only way shorter stopping distance, but no more nose dive! and it wasnt as hard as other claim it to be.
so my set up consists of si rear disc brakes including trailing arms, spindle, rotors and calipers. stainless steel brake lines, and ignalls camber kit.
i will be making a how to with pics being that i didnt find one, (with pics), while i searched.

I have an EM1 myself, and they good...but it is not a performance upgrade at all, it fact, they weight more
well maybe since ur accustomed to the braking difference, but from a drum set up to a disc set up with ss braided brake lines, its def is a noticeable difference.
