96 civic 1.6

starts fine, but then will die... and sometimes it dies while im driving..
makes no weird sounds while it dies,
all lights and radio still work when it dies,
no check engine light
100k miles
all stock


any ideas..

 

Does it start right back up when it dies? I would check your ignition control module. If it does not start right up when it dies check to see if you have spark at the plugs - if not it could be the culprite. If you have spark I would check the fuel pump and or fuel filter. HTH

Have you checked for lose wires? While the engine is running (and keeping watch of your hands!!!!!) I would giggle the battery wire, dizzy wires, alt connector, etc. you may have a lose wire.

 

when its raining out it doesnt die but when its hot it dies... any ideas
