converting to obd1?
hey everyone well someone told me that is i convert my 1997 OBD2 civic (d16y8) i need to get it tune or it wont run right, is this true?
I try to do this conversion last year and my car run like ****.
I use the P28 ecu with the OBD2A to OBD1 harness

You don't need to get it tuned if it's just running a stock Honda motor. Just use the conversion harness for the ECU and the car you took the engine out of's OEM ECU (if it's unmodified). Not sure which engine you put in there but you should be using that harness/that ECU if you put a D16Z6, JDM DOHC D16ZC, JDM D15B, or the like. Guess the most important question is what engine did you put in there, what year, also.
