I have 14" wheels and tires on my civic 2000 right now, I was thinking of upgrading them to 15, Is there any problems that can arise from this?

No you will not have any problems.

Civic stock 15" tire size is 195/55/15

you can also get 195 50 15 if you wanted a skinnie tire ( or the tire model you want only comes in that size ) or taller tire like a 195 60 15 for winter if you want more cleanrence ( thats what I do ) but it will rub at times.

I was getting 16" rims with wheels on them with 4x100 bolt pattern, is there any weight issues that i need to keep in mind when upgrading from 14 to 16?

Depends on the wheel. Most quality wheels will have a weight listed.

 

what weight would be okay and what would be the one requiring mods?
