Default help?

I have just bought a 93 hatch, and every time i brake the car swerve to the driver side. Only when i brake though. The owner that I had bought the car from said that the car was in an accident, so they had put in front rotors and brake caliper from a 94 gsr integra. What may be causing the swerve?

the rotor are used ones, but the caliper is brand new. The brake pads are in great condition also.

I would check to see if there is any frame damage, also are your tires properly inflated. If those check out ok, then you would want the alignment looked at.

I didnt think it would be my alignment because when driving its fine letting go of the steering wheel. the car will still go straight.

What do you mean by the frame damage?

The car only swerve/jerk to the left the harder you break the harder it will swerve or jerk.

there could be air in one of the calipers or maybe a bad flex hose. jack car up (use jack stands) have some body hold brakes on see if you can turn ethier wheel then have them release the brakes and test for free movement if it was frame damage it should pull all the time same with alignment . also does it have abs? bad wheel speed sensor will some time's cause this to happen.

the flex hose is working fine, i have not try to hold the brakes and have someone check to see if the wheel will turn, will do that asap. for reference if the wheel do turn what would be the problem? and no abs.

have you re-bled the brakes? maybe previous owner did a bad job on bleeding the brakes.

were both the front brakes replaced? or was it just one side?
