Default My Ebrake went out! Help anyone?

Im new to this website and i heard people can really help you out in situations.
well the story is, i recently swapped out my brake shoes on both sides of my 95 civic hatch which has drum brakes. I took everything apart and reassembled as shown in the repair manual. But for some reason when my ebrake wont work at all? Any Suggestions to what my problem is? Thanks!

You didnt adjust the shoes out far enough. Set the adjustment bolt (between the shoes at the bottom) by turning it clockwise until there is just a little slack.
