well i bought the car. a friend did a 99-00 dash swap in the car. however the heater controls dont work. i dont want to swap the dash back. i just want it to look legit and get heat eventually.lol. can i just put the 96-98 ***** switchs radio ect back in? i herd its a different size. any help and you would make my life

 

no you cant becuase the vents are differnet and it wont go back in correctly, first off you need to find out exactly what he put in and didnt put in., you need the 99-00 harness and heater core pull the cc and vents.

im looking to see if possible.. leave the 99 dash. keep all the 97 stuff behind the dash and mash the 97 heater controls radio in the 00 dash

 

lets start over, do you have a 99-00 dash pannel? cause they are the same for 96-00

but if you already have the 99-00 conversion no you cannot put 96-98 in and have it work properly.

 

car is a 1997.... it has a 2000 dash.
looking to put the 97oem hvac /radio pannel. into the 00 dash

 

I think you guys need to clarify what terms you're using for what parts ... mass confusion is currently reigning.

 

ok, it will work as long as you have 96-98 heater core,harness, and vents.
