Re: Ek9
I'm not trying to be a hater buddy, I have lots of JDM EK9 parts on my car as well, but my car is not a EK9.
As long as you have the real deal, then is a real EK9, meaning the car.

Re: Ek9
I have spoon parts on my ITR, does that mean i have a spoon integra type R and everyone is just a stupid "hater" if they tell me otherwise?
If you're so CTR'd out then surely you've already explored the option of the type R recaros.

Re: Ek9
^^ i agree,
just because you say you have ctr parts, doesnt make your car a ctr.
i wasnt hating, it just gets anyoning quickly when people think there hatch is a ek9 and yours still isnt, no matter what parts you have.

Re: Ek9
will you guys chill out, and OP, please make your titles reflect what you are looking for. that current title is lame and not helpful.
GSR seats will fit if you swap one base rail from your OE seats, since one rear bolt hole on the GSR base will not line up.

Re: what seats fit in my 6th gen?
Sorry you got flamed so much, there are some sensitive subjects on here chassis codes are one of them as are body kits and misspelling vtec...
The following front seats fit with minimal/no modification (no cutting/welding)
99-00 Si seats
Any integra seats
Del sol seats
S2000 seats (swap pans/rails, my favorite, much easier to do then it sounds)
The following popular seats will not fit without welding/fabrication even though there will be 9234912843832748124789120 more threads asking if they will fit or not...
EP3 Si seats
RSX seats
06+ Si seats

Re: what seats fit in my 6th gen?
No problem if you are interested in the s2000 seat swap let me know, I have a lot more information... I have them in my EM1, they were worth every penny... They look awesome and are very supportive... It really changes the econo car feel of the interior...
I am really not a fan of integra seats, they look and feel more luxury than sport... They are certainly better than stock but pale in comparison to the s2k seats...

What info do you want? How to do the swap? I have some write-ups saved to word documents... If you are interested PM me your email and I will send them to you... The s2k seats are probably my favorite mod on the car besides the exhaust tone...

ok now that we have a good starting point.
OP, how much are you looking to spend on seats? Those Recaros like the ones i posted the picture of usually run between 800-1000 but honest they are worth every penny, i have USDM ITR Recaros in my R and they feel like **** compared to the JDM/Canadian Type R Recaro's. You can also find them in yellow if you're baller enough and try to search for them in australia and i believe some parts of the UK.
Other than that, if you're looking for a bit cheaper option i like the RSX, S2000, and EP3 seats. The GSR seats are a good choice too, as they also have a lumbar support that the integra LS seats do not. Unless your taller than 5'8" i'd stay away from del sol seats, i'm 6'0" and they sat a bit low for my liking in my old 4 door.

Re: what seats fit in my 6th gen?
JDM 96-98 Civic Type-R = EK4
JDM 99-00 Civic Type-R = EK9............................................... ............................
Most 96-00 USDM Hatches are EJ6's but some coupes and sedans are also EJ6's. EX/LX's are EJ8's........Tis not a hard concept to grasp. But seeing as EJ6's are not just one Model I don't see anything wrong with calling it an EK. but if your going to call it a EK9 or EK4 at least get it right.

If you're going for that sporty feel (and you're not a midget) but you're on a budget, get del sol seats. Swap one rail out and you're ready to rock. I love mine in my ej8. Compared to the crap ones it came stock with, these things hug you!
