anyone know how to fix short to power in drivers side airbag???
so.....i ran my car through diagnostics and it came back with short to power in drivers side airbag, anyone know how to fix this? or is this more of sumthin i should go to the dealer to have fixed??
Well you could try replacing the air bag itself, I'm unsure the exact cause of the error. You *could* call a dealership and ask if they know then go from there. If you do go ahead with replacing it you need to be VERY careful with the removal process as it could blow up in your face.
*edit*
I removed my old Accords airbag for the Nardi wheel and NRG quick release, there are instructions in the Helms manual how to do it correctly. I followed those and it went smoothly.

thanks muffinman, i think the easiest thing to do is just remove it i dont plan on wreckin anytime soon anyway. i already pulled the bulb to pass inspection so i think removing it will be better than it randomly blowin up in my face or somethin
You're much better off using my FAQ on bypassing SRS for the driver's air bag, that way the passenger side is still fully functional.
