im in the middle of installing my autopage rs-900 alarm on my 01itr. and i was wondering how or if you would need to bypass the clutch switch in order for the remote start to work. and i know the obd2 hondas dont have a neutral safety switch so ill have to put a toggle switch in like the manual says right?

At the clutch switch in the driver kick pannel. Make sure to use a diode to isolate it from the car.

 

So how do I go about to get remote starter to get the car started without pressing the clutch? Or do I have to disable the clutch switch?

 

The alarm doesnt have a wire that goes to the clutch switch. It is a wire that goes to a neutral safety switch but there are no neutral safety switch on my 01 ITR.

 

After looking into the model it is not safe for use on 5 speeds. You need to find a newer model that will accomendate remote start for a 5 speed.
