Clutch bypass on Prelude
I'm using a compustar alarm that has a remote start. I need to bypass the clutch to make it start remotely. How can I do this? I'm also using a bypass module for the immobolizer.

Yeah, I know where the clutch switch is, I'm just not sure how I should simulate clutch being depressed while I try to remote start the car.

Not sure if clutch switch is a neg or a pos switch but use the remote start output on your alarm to momentarily give the switch what it requires. Most likely a neg switch for clutch and a neg out on alarm

or if you look closely at the switch, you'll realize it has only 2 wires. 1 must be some sort of positive or negitive input, and the other is the output....... when you push the clutch in it just connects the the input with the output. You can use a relay to do this by connecting Common (Typically pin 30) to the input or output, and Normally Open (typically pin 87) to the other wire. Connect one side of the coil to 12 volts, and then the other end of the coil to a negitive status output wire (which most likely is blue but could be another color... it's the same wire you're using to activate the immob bypass unit when you remote start the car... just tag into that wire)
