If i have a problem where my window regulator is broken so my window rolls up until about .5 inch to the top do you think if the professionals were tinting my windows that would be a problem? or would they still be able to tint the whole window by pulling it up with their hands. I have a new regulator on the way but i was just wondering cause i might go in and tint my windows this weekend.

 

Wait until the window is fixed. If they try to pull up a tinted window the tint will slide.

 

I agree with NOFX, if you have dealt with a messed up window this long, and no tint as long as you have, waiting another week at max will not hurt you, even if the tinters tape the outside of the window up so it is all the way at the top how it should be and the tint is at the right spot, there is a great possibility and very easy to do when you go to swap the regulator or if the window goes out of track when your messing with it or just normal use, you can scratch the Heck out of the tint on the inside door shell, or tools, etc, and there goes your clean tint job.

Just wait get everything right first, and then worry about the tint,

It is usually easier to just do it right the first time, Half A$$ing anything never will get you where you want to be and keep you there

 

X3. You will mess up your new tint if you don't fix the window first!

 

my windows were doing the same thing 2 weeks ago. A new regulator will definitely fix it. But my advise is, fix window, wait at least a week, then get tint. Unless you want to pay for a tint job and have it get ruined quickly
