so my friend is selling his 97 ek coupe hx. i recently sold my gsr dc2 so i have the cash to buy it but not to spend that much money on it. the car has alot of dents here and there but he is supposed to get the ones that can be poped out.. it has no mods other than the cold air intake. i think its the d16y7 or something which has 175k. :/... but my plans are to clean up engine maybe tune it up so it will be dependable and to the exterior, shave the moldings, clean the civic badges that he tried to shave but didn't, add honda type r badges all around, take the ricer spoiler off, get the 99-00 tail lights and maybe some new headlights, get si grill off ebay. lmk how much u think i should offer him and other things to do.. im kind of a noob too. so help me out. it runs good and drives good.. exterior is 7.5/10 after dents are popped, interior is 9/10.

yeah but i sold my gsr at high price and made a profit but spent some of it :/ so it's in my budget... lmk what you all think on how much i should pay

only way i would buy a ek number one clean title and super clean but your kinda going backward i would say its worth 3k if clean title

yeah it has clean title... he wants 2k but im giving 1500... im sure he'll take it... just to get an idea this is the car without the swap and lowered and lip and si stuff...

And if it helps, I bought a super cleannnn 97 turbo-ed mini me cx hatch with all real vis carbon fiber parts, hood, trunk, front and rear lip, wing, grill, and mirrors for 4000 flat.
