Is that setup safe? It has been running a while with that setup but I dont know if he did the correct setup with the Y8 distributor ect. The guy says that he has the original D16z6 head that works and runs. Im gonna take the car to a mechanic to have inspected but should i be worried about anything. Both the head and the block have about 95000 miles on them.

It's safe to run that set up if he did the head swap correctly.

I'm guessing he just did that to higher his compression ratio?

Just asking but if you are planning to buy that car, what are your plans?

A Y8 head is better for all motor.

 

Im not gonna do anything special. Its gonna be my daily driver.

 

I see, well just take it to the mechanic and hope to see the car runs fine and wont die out.
