Default Header-back aftermarket exhaust???

Long and short is that my catalytic converter is a rusted out piece of crap.
I want to replace the entire exhaust as it is still factory and showing its age, but I can't use the cat cus its held together by rust

Im wondering if anybody knows if there are good replacement exhaust systems out there that bolt directly onto the header.

or should i just get a cat-back exhaust and a test pipe

you can buy an oem replacement either from a dealer or a parts store but youll have a lot more options and get a bit more power out of an aftermarket and spend only a little more that you would have for a replacement

but unless you know where to get a crukad smog at... i would suggest eventuallly thinking about investing in a bolt in cat to temporarily replace your test pipe to pass smog

oh...and you for the piping after the header and before the cat there shouldnt be anybends so a muffler shop should be able to quickly and relatively cheap fab up a quick piece of piping for that section

a catback system isnt gonna bolt directly to the header. thats why its called a cat back. youll need a testpipe or just have an exhaust shop fit a pipe where the cat would go
