Rev limit problem b16
I have a 95 civic with a b16a swap and recently it will only let me rev up till 3 grand and then it seems as if my rev limiter cuts on almost as if I have a 2 step on at all times please I need help trying figure out what the problem could be
Ive been starting up my car everyday just to get the fluids running and it seems as if the car runs fine then i took it around the block and the rev was fine, and then all of a sudden it starts acting up again the car feels like it is dragging it has nowhere near the same power or responce....... any ideas
I have a 92 civic with a d15b... It wont rev past 2500 rpm. I have tried two different dizzy, both of which are practically new. its throwing codes 6, 8, 10, 14,16, 22. Did the same thing with my d16z6. I dont really think there is a problem with all of the things that it is throwing codes for. please help!

It could be the dizzy, like "BuilkdTheDream" said, it also sounds like the dreaded "limp" mode though. Are you throwing any codes on your stock ECU? If so fix those and get back to us. Let us know if/when you figure it out. Good luck!
so do i just get a new distributor??? its throwing these codes:
17 vss speed sensor
36 Traction control found on jdm ecu's
22 vtec pressure valve
10 IAT intake air tempurature sensor
14 IAc (Eacv) idle air control valve
21 Vtec Spool Solenoid valve
3 Map manifold absolute pressure sensor
