Default triying to rase my comperetion

i herd that you can put DOHC zc pistons in a d16y7 block? is that true?im runing a z6 head on the block will the valvs cleer and not hit? thanks

they fit. they are pretty much the same. minus compression heigth

ok they fit do i loos compretion or gane compretion? i am trying to find haw to make my car better.

use a compression calculator on google.

Yeah I had a buddy who had done this and was in the high 12's on compression.

They'll fit. And you could also use a thinner head gasket from what ive heard. (But do not quote me on that)

if you are talking about p29/pm7 pistons and not flat pg6b pistons from 86-87 d16a1...

yes, they will physically work, but you will need swap to obd1 and run the proper tuneable ecu to run such a combination.

with the y7 head you will be in the mid-12's static compression.
