Turbo in my del sol?
Just bought a turbo chrager for my car i drive a 93del sol si with a pertty much stock. so heres my question the motor runs strong but what should i do before bolting on the turbo? i.e. fule rail, injectors, cam or gear? i only plan on runing abot 5-7 lbs. any input? Thanks
Sorry to say this, but I don't think you fully understand the complexity of a turbo system. There's far, far, far more to it than just bolting up a turbo. A reply here could not entail the amount you need to know to do it correctly. Go over to the forced induction section and don't ask any questions, just read. Learn as much as you can before asking because so many things have been covered.
yeah, it's way too much to explain in a post. You need to consider what kind of engine management you'll be using and how you're tuning before you're ready to go.
Back in the day, people used to run turbos on these cars with no engine management other than the VAFC hack to trick it into dumping fuel. That's by far not the best solution.

Go to the Forced Induction forum and read. After you've done that, read more. Finally, ask if you still don't understand. There is a wealth of info in the FAQ which will cover your question.
