Default lsvtec

lsvtec crank no start. found that the camgears jumped timing. so i retimed everything line everything up. fires up with no problem. now one thing is the timing belt is flapping around and **** making noise. i have the slack on the wrong side.. the slack is on the exhaust cam when it should be where the tensioner is which is the intake camshaft.. what can i do to get the slack to the right side.. remember i got the timing back on point without removing the crank pulley or any of the drivebelt.. or my best bet is to remove everything someone show me a trick..

I would think if you're leaving the crank pulley in place, just bring it up along the exhaust cam side, snug. Slip it over the intake and let the tensioner do its business. Although, having typed that, it seems like you're better off just taking the crank pulley off and making sure everything's properly aligned before you slip the belt on.

There's no trick to this. I don't think you have to remove the upper mount since you aren't replacing the belt, right?
