NSX Brake calipers on my 4x100 gs-r
Hey I just bought a gs-r a few months ago and have been buying parts like crazy haha. My question is what all do I need for my gs-r to have nsx brake calipers? Its 4x100 and I do plan to keep it that way due to the new rota slipstreams I bought lastweek so anyways what parts and fabrication would I need??
PARTS LIST
NSX front calipers w/ brackets & pads
ROTORS
a. 11" fastbrakes.com 4X100 rotor
b. re-drill prelude VTEC rotors to 4x100
once you acquire the NSX calipers, remove the brackets & have them machined
once your brackets are milled, everything is a bolt-on
bleed your brakes, & break in your pads.
the NSX calipers/11" rotor will clear 15" oem honda/acura wheels, you shouldn't have clearance issues with your rota slipstreams

ROTORS
a. 11" fastbrakes.com 4X100 rotor
b. re-drill prelude VTEC rotors to 4x100
once you acquire the NSX calipers, remove the brackets & have them machined
approx 3.2 mm (or an 1/8")
examine the bracket (where the 23T is stamped) & look for the #3 to be cut in half
the amount machined should be equivalent on both sides on each bracket (which mates to the knuckle)

They said that they used the NSX calipers with 282mm rotors. Is there only one source for "pre-made" larger 4x100 rotors? Otherwise re-drilled honda rotors? Prelude rotors the only ones that will work with this setup? Also what aftermarket SS braided brake lines can be used? Thanks for any help/advice posted!

www.fastbrakes.com has the 11" rotor in 4X100

the 11" prelude VTEC front rotor re-drilled 4x100 is prob most popular due to the availibilty/acess of off-the-shelf parts
use of NSX brackets (stamped 28T) w/ NSX calipers

any 88-00 civic or 90-01 integra OEM front brake hose will work with this upgrade, so if you're after SS lines, get a set for your application, which is: 99-00 civic Si
