i have a 03 ep3 and im having trouble with high idleing my car trew a check ingine code p0505 i know what it is bad iac my qestion is can i fix it or do i have to replace a new iac ?? can some one help me?

As for the IACV, you should just be able to clean it...

Sometimes you can clean them and they will work fine, other times you need to just replace them. Cleaning them is cheap so give it a try.

 

is there a way we can bypass it?

 

I've heard of block off plates but that was on older Honda's. I'm not sure if they have them for K-Series motors... Sometimes a pain to deal with though on the block off and if I'm not mistaken it requires some tuning. Not too sure on that info though, just hear-say.

 

Here's what I've found... looks like K-Pro would be required to disable the stock IACV function...
