i think its between 6-8 quarts. only way to get it alll flushed is to jack it up and put the car up on jack stands in the front. pull both hoses from the radiator at the bottom. turn the car on and put it in gear and let it pump the tq convertor out. dump out about 3 quarts then put it back in park refill the fluid thru the dip stick with 4 quarts. then repeat this again. honda transmissions do not have a filter to replace on them its all interrnal.

Ok, well I just replaced an axle. I drained the fluid as the walk thru here showed. Now I just need to top it back off. I'm not looking to do a 100% perfect flush, I just need it back up to a safe level.

open up the filll plug and add 2 quarts. you probbaly didint loose much. in the back behind the passangers axle thiers a 17mmm nut thats the fill hole. fill it up through the dipstick untill u start to see it start to run out. then put the fill hole bolt back on. and your done

Page 200 in the Owner's Manual says 2.9 quarts for a "change" and says it holds 6.2 quarts total.
