i have a 94 honda civic hatchback .. it has a d15b7 motor ... the motor was running fine till i changed the intake manifold t a skunk2 proseris intake mani... and now when i first crank it the car runs fine but once it warms up it goes into like a high then low idel ... can anyone help or give me any sugestions ..

 

Vacuum or intake air leak. Check for a disconnected vacuum hose or a leaking IM or TB gasket.

i check all that and nothing .. everything is fine any other suggestions

 

i had the same issue with the same motor when i first got my hatch..check everything from the TB to ivac make sure everythings where it goes and the bolts r all tourqued down an check the gasket itself if everything else seems fine

 

Idle air control valve(IACV) Clean it/replace it and see if that works.

 

where is the iacv located wut does it look like

check the thermo valve under the throttle body if the spring is broke inside it causes a surging idle.

 

thanks everyone for the help but i think i got it fixed now .. i replaced the TPS and adjusted timing and got everything straight .. but thanks for the help wid everything everyone ...

does anyone know if i can put a d16 si trans into my car ... i have a d15b8 block wid a d16y8 head .... just want to know if i can put the d16si trans on it before i purchase it
