I have a turbocharged b16 in a 93 eg hatch and when I turn the key over to give the car power the speedo jumps to 20MPH before I even turn the car on. I was told it is either the VSS or the Cluster, which should I go about replacing first, and if it is the VSS how hard are they to replace is this an easy fix? Thanks for any help that can be given.

 

prolly the needle is sitting in the wrong spot..i opened up my cluster so i could paint the needles red and i think i moved the speedo needle too much cuz it did the same to me. jumped up to like 25 while it was idling, so i just opened it up again and messed with needle till i got it in the right spot.

 

but he hasnt taken his needles of. I hav but i havent looked into it yete the same issues with my ek. i think its te cluster
