Tranny making noise???
Well im not sure if its really the tranny but I believe so because of this explaination.
When I drive the car or have it standing still I hear this clicking sound(no its not a knock. I know a knock sound when I hear it) coming from the engine bay. It doesnt sound like a bad omfg noooo kind of click but how would I know anyways. It is annoying though when im not listening to music. My reason the believe its coming from the tranny is because I just recently found out that the sound goes away EVERY single time I press the clutch in. What is up with that??? Car is a 95 DX stock motor if it helps.
Does anyone happen to know what the issue may be??? Trans mount maybe???

I would try to describe more in detail later on when I get a chance however I dont think it would make much of a difference cause I can barely describe it now. If i can pick the sound up on vid I will post it.

Ok im assuming that by you all saying throw out bearing you all mean release bearing right??? And if so I just recently swapped the tranny for one in better condition and changed that bearing along with every other bearing and seal as well.
When I swapped the tranny the sound wasnt there until honestly now that I remember I carried the car to get aligned and then all of a sudden there is this sound now.
However I checked everything that could possibly have to do with suspension. I have a bad wheel bearing but other than that I cant see anything that would make that kind of noise related to suspension and what would it have to do with it the sound going away when the clutch is pressed in.
Just thought I would post that extra info. I would check the bearing if I have to but rather not have to go there right now.

a trans mount wont cause this a clicking noise.
I have a 95 LX manual trans and had the exact same problem. When i stepped on teh clutch the noise went away, when i i would take off in first i would hear it at low rpm,. and once i went to high rpm it would be gone, and the biggining of second i could hear it again, and so on up until third i starte4d hearing it about four months after i first heard it wheni was in neutral.
I bought a bearing kit for about 160 dollars and just swapped my bearings easy **** if you know what you are doing. i would get it done professionally if you dont have that experience.
Those transmissions are super strong, unless you add some extra power it will withstand the power that engine will provide, i beat up my civic its stock with intake/headers/exhaust. I have 213xxx miles on it and it purs like a baby. Im about 99 percent sure its your bearings if you hear what i described. Good Luck
Change your trans oil sometimes that helps to determine the problem if the noise reduces then its probably your barings. trans bearings.

Im talking about the internal bearings of the transmission, I dont think it will be your throw out bearing. i believe there are about four or five bearings needed to be changed. If you call up a transmission shop in your area and ask them for a bearing kit for your DX. It also comes with the new seals.
For my friends car i dropped the trans and just took it to a trans shop and they rebuilt it with just new bearings and seals and its running strong. I did the bearings and seals in my own car and it is also running strong.
They are going to want to sell you syncros and you most likely do not need them, I have never seen a manual 92-95 civic trans have bad syncros or anything other then just needing bearings.
What did the dealership do to the trans other than seals?

i have a 95 civic all stock i just did the clutch and pressure plate and after all that i had one of the drive axle on the passenger side pop out. and now there is a sound like a tool rattling around in the tranny. whats the noise and how did the drive axle pop out when i went to drive it.

You have to be more specific with when the noise occurs, under what conditions.
It depends, if you take the tranny in, or you take the car in and have them drop the tranny, Down here in So Cal they charge about 5 bills, if you drop the tranny its about 350. Thats what i was quoted two years ago. By a transmission shop.
