so i finally swapped in my b20b in my eg i got it to crank and turn over but it doesnt start just keeps turning ive checked the firing order it has spark gets fuel and has compression its a stock jdm motor. so when i first started her up it turned on but since the firing order was wrong it missfired and was backfiring so i immediately turned it f and changed the firing to the correct one and it wouldnt start i also put in a brand new bettery spark plugs and dizzy cap when i turned it on the first time the spark plugs were burnt up and had that dark charcoal look on them so i was wondering if any one had some input on what couldve have happened i was wondering if i couldve fouled the timing so how would i go about checking it and retiming it and i also wondered if it could be my ignition coil or dizzy since i bought it off some dude on craigslist ... so far it is a jdm b20b with an ls im dizzy alternator and p75 ecu in an eg Si hatch some of the vacuum lines arent connected correctly so when it does run im sure its just gonna have the notorious idle problem but i have the diagram im just awaiting the ls map tps and pcv to install but that shouldnt be the issue of it not starting so if any one can post up some replies with some helpfull info i would seriously greatly appreciate it thanks ht dudes
