I have NO REV Limiter! I need Help!
I bought this one integra and it has no rev limiter. And no, its definitely not the ecu. The ecu was chipped when i bought the car, but then i traded the ecu for a stock one and tried out my other friends stock ecu and its still the same thing.
Can someone help me with this. I really would like to have a rev limiter on the car.

Well, the ecu is the ONLY thing that controls the rev limiter. So.....
Secondly, why do you need a rev limiter? If you're revving your motor to the point the needle is hitting the limit and bounces around, you're not shifting correctly.
If you shift that high all the time (which you shouldn't be), get a shift light and set it to your redline.

yeah. so i've read the same thing. "ecu is the only thing that controls the rev limiter" which in my case, apparently not true.
main reason I want the rev limiter back is that i want it back to how it should be and not a defect. And to me, this is a defect. When I go to the track, I want to shift right and not add on a higher possibility of overheating or blowing my motor.
And I dont shift high all the time. Most of the time and rarely, it's at the track.
So yeah, if someone can just help me please.

What model integra do you have?
Rev limit on LS is 6900, and on the gsr I think it's 8200 or something? Maybe you have a GSR, but the rev limit is higher than you are pushing it?

yeah of course. But like the subject says I have no rev limiter. rpm needles goes past 9k assuming hitting 10k or possibly more. I dont know because the needle just drops after 9k
