Brake splash guard question

is removing it okay, its making a bunch of noise since the mechanic replaced the cv joint? Which would be number 21 or 20! The one i have right now is bent to hell!
you can bend them out so they dont make noise. and yes you can remove them....i hope you dont drive in snow and mud though. you can ruin your calipers and rotors that way. and they help cool the rotors. but alot of roadracers ditch them

I have tried and the brake splash guard is totally messed up, how do i take them off do i just break the nut and remove everything with it or is it attached to something???

hell i have been trying to do that but its sucks when the mechanic is the brother in law, i have been trying for two weeks now, and the poor ek sits there, i have been busy with school and i haven't had anytime to get to the car.
take off the wheel and use a grinder with a cutting blade and slice off what you can.
or you have to get a wrench behind it and undo the bolts.
