Default buying an s2k

im gunna buy an s2k a black 2000 clean title no modfications and the guy sounds pretty old he said he is the first owner and the car has 78k im curious how much longer id have to drive the car with no problems and is there anything i should look for? like is 78 high for an s2000? thanks

you haven't provided enough information.

has he shifted @ 2K for the 78 thousand miles? does he redline it 10 times a day? does he keep up with routine maintenance? does he know how to properly drive a stick shift without frying the clutch?

..... Don't come in here asking for help and shoot down the first person to help you. 78,000 is fine and we're not psychics and can tell you the condition of the car. Don't be a ****ing dick if you want help

shifting at 2K would be bad for the car, I shift mine at like 3500 or 4200ish.

if you really want the car let a mechanic check it out for you and as for the miles no thats not alot of miles especially for a 2000

p.s. with these cars don't let age fool you, there's plenty of 40yo+ members on s2ki who get down in their s2000's :] (and I'm sure here too)
