Default ap1 vs. integra

So last night i was getting onto the freeway and noticed HIDs tailing me pretty hard.. I banged VTEC through a few gears and saw him chasing. I slowed down and let him get next to me, we slowed down to maybe 45 then went at it. He had a passanger and i was alone, we ran neck and neck all the way till 115! WTF! Was he a type R or turbo GS-R or what?

#1 don't think a stock type R with a passenger would keep up with an s2k

#2 it obviously was not any type of factory stock 'teg.

#3 my psychic abilities say it has a K20a supercharged swap with a tid bit of nitrous on the side.. just kidding

1) If it was boosted, you would have lost

2) I dont think he could be a Type R or turbo GSR him self.

3) maybe your driving needs some work?

Could've been a built GSR or ITR N/A.
Possibly supercharged considering the 45mph start.

Turbo would've smoked ya.

hell a gsr with some good boltons and a good tune is a 14.0-13.8 sec car if driven right..

a 200hp gsr goes 13.5 and isnt hard to build

basically it takes about 30 more hp in an s2000 to go the same as a civic/integra.

This car isn't made to go very fast in a straight line right off the lot. If that's your goal you're gonna want to change the gears, and start boosting. (and not eBay boost )

well i'm def not a fan of straight line racing, i'm not complaining about the s2ks dragging abilities, just wondering how a teg runs that hard.. But ya it sounds more like Jdoggs theory, it's VTEC hit really hard, i could hear it from my stock ap1, and there was no clear turbo/sc noises. And about my driving, on one of the passes i stayed in one gear, so unless i dont press the pedal hard enough, idk.

NA K-Swap most likely

Agree if it was turbo or SC you would have been left in the dust.
