Default PGMFI Project Web Page Revamped! Come hack your ECU! Coders Needed!

PGMFI has undergone a facelift of sorts. The beginnings of a FAQ and much documentation has been placed online.

The goal of the project is to make open source tools for tuning the factory ECU available, as well as an open source program to allow full support for boost, n2o solenoid control, and other desirable features - Hondata 4b/zdyne functionality for the DIY honda enthusiast.

There is tons of work to be done. Solutions exist for tuning OBD0 + OBD1 ECUs currently, but there is miles of work to be done in terms of supporting boost properly on either platform.

A knowledge of computers is definately a plus, as is a THUROUGH knowledge of engines and engine management systems. This last round of updates to the static content on the site is intended to help newbies more than anything. We really need programmers - 8051 assembly baby.

I'm sitting writing code tools for the 66K architecture (OBD1) as we speak, wish us luck.

Hope to see some of the bright minds of honda-tech wander over.
