Never drop your wash mitt. And always use gritgaurds and two bucket method.

and here is my tip for this week

Detailing tip of the week: reason why a microfiber towel has two sides is because one side its for applying a product and the other to buff the product off. that's why always be picky about the towels you buy and what you use them for...

Only way to go! If you only ever learn ONE thing about detailing, learn THIS one!

This is how you do a "Quick & Easy Wash," too.

Check out this stuff to know what I'm talking about.

My tip for the week-

Tape off trim and emblems while applying polish and wax to help remedy the dreaded white on black trim staining. Also helps to tape over the edge of the molding so no wax or polish can get in the cracks between the body and molding.

kinda common sense, but when claying, do not just use water...at least use soap and water, but its best to use some quick detail spray. i personally use ONR.

the best way to clean your dirty airvents an between the seats an armrest is to use blow it with an air compresser. spray windex in the vents helps lossen the dirt an then blow it out. air is also good to get pet hair up.

when wiping off buffing compounds, use a 50/50 mix of rubbing alcohol and water to make sure the surface is clean for the next step.

True, air is a must on most interior work. Windex is not good to use on interior plastics, other appropriate chemicals are made for use w/ interiors.

I hate to break it to you, but every type of towel has two sides. Microfiber cloths are the same on both sides and are not used to apply anything that you would buff, generally you would use them for removal.

not all microfibers are the same on both sides. I know some of mine aren't. My cobra towels have different sides to them. One is a softer side and once is a little more dense

Proper detailing towels will make any detailing job a breeze, SmartWax recommend high grade microfiber towels with 70/30 blend like our Monsters Towels 16x16,

Most likely will take a good polish compound on a straight-drive polisher to correct it.
