Shifter Assembly
I need to order an OEM shift lever and basically everything but the linkage and bushings. I've done this a few times, but I'm not understanding the parts catalog diagram. Assuming I have nothing but the linkage, do I literally need one of everything listed?
What are all those extra washers and bushings pictured next to the shift lever? Are they included when you purchase a complete shift lever? # 24, 12, 4, 5

I'm not worried about saving money, I'm trying to make sure that I get everything that was originally installed by Honda/Acura.
Okay, I guess my other integra didn't have all of the hardware installed.
I'll be ordering one of everything.
Should these parts be interchangeable with ITR stuff? AcuraOEMParts has different part numbers for the shift lever, linkage, and a few other things, but the ITR stuff is a bit cheaper than GSR.

What is difficult to understand? That's one of the more straightforward Honda parts diagrams that there are. Yes, you need every single thing listed in the diagram minus the parts that you already have. When you buy a shift lever from Honda, nothing is included but the lever itself. All components must be ordered a la carte unless the diagram indicates that multiple items are included in a kit (nothing in that diagram is labeled as such).
Without all of the O-rings, thrust washers, and collars pictured at the bottom of the shift lever, you're going to have so much freeplay in the shifter that you won't even be able to tell what gear you're in. You could DIY with other materials, but it doesn't sound like you really have the know-how or resources to do that, so your cheapest and easiest option at this point is to just order all of the hardware pictured from a Honda or Acura dealer.

I was trying to figure out if those bushings and such are internal parts that are included when you purchase the shift lever. I think that's a legitimate question.
I am not pinching penny's or looking for a cheaper way. I'm not here because I lack the skills/tools to fabricate my own shifter hardware, either. I'm in the final stages of building a car and trying to make sure that I have certain things exactly the way Honda designed it.
The only question I still have - does anybody know if the ITR shift linkage is interchangeable? I'm aware of the chrome plated shift lever, but what else is different?
