Hello all. I realize that i'm new to this forum, but i can't help but notice how many people are torched for buying what they like. Everyone doesn't have jdm money for jdm parts. However, they still want to enjoy their car as much as the guy who can do an h22 engine swap. I suppose that since i like rota slipstreams i would be considered a ricer if i put them on a 2000 dx automatic. By all means flame on...

What's with all the threads from newbies about getting flamed?

 

they newbies are fighting back slowly but surely until the use their 5 posts

 

i got some rota slipstreams, saved me money. and i'm all about saving money.

 

We too shall one day become...well...ummmm....non-newbies...yeah

 

By the way...i haven't been flamed i have simply seen others flamed and i'm responding to it. Also, it's nice to see that putting rotas on my car won't lead to finger pointing and slight giggling...cause i was going to do it anyway!!

I've seen a twist of events here on H-T since I've been here. I've seen JDM come hard and now it seems to be the next lame thing according to many members here.

Do what YOU like to YOUR car and be happy with it.

I am the proud owner of 15x6.5'' Rotas as well, and if someone has a problem with it I simply do not give 2 squirts of ****.

The real-deal Regamasters and SPOON wheels are undoubtedly awesome lightweight wheels, but they are pricey and Rotas do the trick for 1/4 of the price. Not quite as light or strong, but for most of us here they do just fine.

Hell man!! I painted mah damn hubcaps and I love the look. Everyone on here said it would look cheap and well... It doesn't look cheap. It looks amazing... do your thing and love it. When I went to a meet someone asked me were I ordered my black wheel covers. Do a job good, and it will be appreciated. Even it cost only 15 bucks for paint!

 

there is absolutely nothing wrong with neon green fanged kit equipped cars with 19inch rims with white vinyl interior. afterall, its no different then a bunch of cars equipped with road race parts that never see a road race track right? its all for show and fun

 

i know i know i know..like most threads ..oh well.

but seriously..i always wonder deep in my head..why is a hotrod with shaved doors and tail lights from later years and stuff,chrome engine, wheels, chop tops, and custom body work a cool thing, but when its done to a newer car its rice. i dont get that.

none taken, but its no different then all of the countless "look at this rice i found on ebay" posts. thats a skipping record as well. people like to clown on all that stuff..but many of them are no different, just in a diff way. if a kid gets a body kit for looks, he gets thumbs down. when a kid gets some race parts for looks purposes..its like "wowwwwww". thats kinda fucked up. dont u agree?
