i keep breaking tranny cases! right where the 2 19mm bolts go through the back bracket to the case of the tranny.

i have stock mounts with energy inserts.

this is my second case ive snapped the 19's out of. first was a ls trans, now a itr. :/

 

Are you launching hard? Mad tYtE wheel hop?

 

Are you installing that bracket and the mounts properly? Your supposed to torque all of the mounts in a specific sequence. There is a page about it in the helms that I can post if you need me to.

 

Are you using the correct mount? My uncle used a wrong mount on his Eg with a JDM b16 and snapped his tranny case right off.

 

no wheel hop what so ever, i spin 1st and 2nd like theres no tommorow.
all the mounts are factory dc mounts. all have energy inserts. but i didnt know they were supposed to be torqued in a specific sequence, let alone a special torque resistance. please post the link to who offered. thanks/

 

Get yourself a helms manual, it sure saves alot of headaches.

**** mine aren't torqued to specifications. I just hand tightened it.
