Ok went to the strip this past friday. I don't know what's up with the R but I don't know if its to super anymore. The car seems to be running really rich and after checking the timing we noticed that the car is extremely retarded. Haven't checked it officially yet, but a few honda guys said that it looks like its below spec. I don't know how long its been like this, maybe forever but I don't see how I could have ever run such times previously. Well the air temp was about 75 degrees with about 60% humidity. I've hit another 14.0 in similar conditions. Any way the first part of the night I ran with the exhaust hooked up and was hitting 14.5-14.6@94-95mph). Then I went open header which use to bump my trap speeds by at least 2-3mph. Well my best increase in trap was only a mph or so. My average trap was up a little but not as dramatic as normal. My best run was as followed.

60'......2.12 (thats my new best) SO-3's@20psi. (Backed up by a 2.19 )
1/4mi...14.3@96mph

With that 60' a few months ago that would have been a 13second pass. Heck my 14.0@99mph was with a 2.3 60'. What I want to know is it possible for my timing to change on its own (I have 44,000mi) and how big a difference can it make. They are guessing I might be less than 14 degrees but I don't see how. Going to check my plugs as well because they might be fouled out from running rich. I'll update soon.

Not dumping it. I just slowly (relatively speaking) release the clutch to control wheelspin.
