Default Crankshaft Bolt

Hi guys new to the forum. I can't get the crankshaft bolt to break loose. I have the special tool to hold the pulley while removing the bolt, breaker bars and cheater bars but keep breaking 1/2 extensions. The bolt won't budge. Any help is appreciated. By the way i am trying to replace the timing belt on a 2001 Accord EX 4 cyl.

thanks
Mike

The crankshaft bolt can be a real pain. My 600lb impact wouldn't work so I bought a 4 foot long pipe for a cheater bar. I didn't break anything, my breaker bar extension and socket are craftsman. If they do break Sears gives you a new one no questions asked.

Ya they are craftsman and Snap On so no problem replacing them. My cheater pipe is about 3 feet but no luck.

My 40" tall and 3/4" drive breaker bar would break them all loose no matter what because thats the biggest breaker bar I've got. It even broke loose one of my stubborn axle nut that I had. Too bad, I don't have it anymore after we moved to our new place, couldn't find it anywhere.
