91 integra LS leaking fluids ??? help ???
aight i just got my 91 LS and it was leaking oil into the 2nd spark plug and from the front of valve cover .. so i changed the valve cover and spark plug seals and that stopped those leaks .. but now i noticed its leaking something under the car on the passenger side under the motor ... im not sure what it is .. its not oil though i think it might be transmission fluid but im not sure .. the car is a automatic with 188k miles on it ... so please can anyone help me figure out what it might be leaking its only been doing it for 2 days and i have had the car for 1 week now =( ...
the fluid is like maybe a light brown or light red color. so i dont think its antifreeze either .. so it has to be either transmission or power steering fluid right? please help me figure this out.
i will try to get some pics of the leak tomorrow and and the bottom of the motor to see if u might can tell where its coming from. thanks in advance

Well to the best of my knowledge automatic tranny fluid is red and oil like, while power steering is more brown and smells awful.. So get under the car, dip your fingers in and take a smell.. If its stinky it probably p/s fluid, but you should also look around your motor to see if there is anything might be dripping
look at the drain plug on the tranny its the one that looks like a 3/8`square it uses a crush washer so if its serviced and not replaced it may leak also the mileage is a lil high so get under the car and tighten all the oil pan nuts i think its a 10mill the vibration can cause them to loosen a lil bit usually only needs a 1/4 turn on each but dont over tighten
good luck!
good luck!
aight ill take a look tomorrow morning and tighten those bolts .. but it is dripping off the transmission .. but i dont think its leaking from there .. if i look at where the transmission dip stick is i can see wet stuff all around it .. is there any way for it to leak on the top by that stick and just run down and drip off?
the fluid doesnt stink and it does look kinda redish ... i know for a fact its not oil or antifreeze ... but it isnt like oily substance .. its real watery and redish/light brownish in color .. maybe more red than brown though im not sure

does nobody have any input on this???
i pulled the car forward maybe 1 ft last night to see how bad it leaked .. and it didnt leak anything for 5hrs and i havent drove the car since friday .. but when i came outside this morning it had a small puddle under the car ... so idk why it doesnt leak all the tiem and just randomly when it wants to?

Well is your p/s reservoir low? is it shifting weird? is it doing anything besides leaking? Your not telling us enough stuff to know... We need more info!! just check all of your fluids and let the F*er leak
you check your speed sensor yet? it's that thing the speedometer read off of on the tranny to tell you how fast your going. Is it broken from it's mounting bolts. if it is, tranny oil will come out of that hole and spill all over the tranny.
Also look at the vacuum modulator valve, it's in the front of the tranny near the dipstick kinda look like a wannabee blow off valve with a vacuum nipple attached to. check for any damages to it or leakage.
