From This to that. Help!!
Hey Wasssup,
So my first honda I purchased two years ago was a Single Non Vtec and I hated it. I could never keep up with anyone or if I was invited to a challange I wouldnt take it. So at first I was thinking of doing a swap to my ek hatch but then i changed my mind and decided to sell it. and i did. Now I have a ek four door with a b16 swap from 00 si. Complete swap.. What a big difference.. Even doe I've stepped it up i feel like i need more power being that i have a b16 in a four door which is heavy then the standard coupe. I'm a real noob at the honda scene so I need you guys who are experince to help me out with suggestions, recommendations comments whatever. What would you recommend I do to get more power? with out spending a whole lot of money at one time and still be able to have my car reliable. It's my dd so I dont want to mod it to the point it's realiablity would be in jeopordy. Please help....
PS. I finally understand the VTEC addiction. Oh man I love the sound of vtec popping...

My questions is how can i get the most power out of my b16 without sacraficing the realiablity. Meaning can i build the motor and get more power and still be able to use it as my dd? What should i do to get this power. and for the guy with nitrous comment you gotta be kidding me?!!
what is your spending limit if your broke i would say a 57trim and a good tune on 8 psi is your best bet and you could ride out like that for about another year and hafe if you take care of your car

The most power for the least amount of money and still be reliable = nitrous. With a properly set up kit you could get an additional 75+ hp easily for roughly $400+. A nitrous motor operates as a stock motor 99% of the time (unlike a forced induction motor which is a lot more expensive and under boost most of the time). Since a stock motor is extremely reliable and you're running on it 99% of the time, you've solved all your problems with one solution. a 75hp shot installed and tuned correctly is very reliable...ask me how I know....
