fuel surge tank needed?
shooting for 650whp outta my AP1 S2000, already have ID1000's and a walbro (intank) but here we go...
if i were to add a bosch 044 to the intake walbro, would this be a good setup for a safe 650whp?
-8 feed line from the intank walbro to the 044
-8 line from the 044 to fuel filter
-8 line from filter to fuel rail
-6 return line
InlinePRO fuel rail
fuelab FPR
My main concern, is the surge tank needed? I was planning on modifying the oem fuel pump hanger by installing a -8 fitting on the top (attached to the walbro outlet) feedling the 044 which I plan on mounting either under the car, or where the spare tire goes, this is a daily driver...
I have heard about these pumps will cause cavitation without installing at least one filter, any truth to this?
sorry to whip the dead horse but, I want this to be reliable as can been, and don't won't to worry about running on the edge of my fuel system!
thanks so much....
