Go outside; as far as ventilated areas go, mama nature's backyard is pinnacle.

Identify a suspicious area, spray it with starter fluid, listen for idle changes. Depending on the severity of your leak, it might be very subtle, so do it sober

...Do this sparingly and leave time for evaporation. It's nearly a stupid idea, but it works every time.
