reverse lockout switch help

Default reverse lockout switch help

okay im getting maybe here in the next week to finish my ep3 finally and install everything i been saving up from the past 4 months. i dont want to go into 6th gear while moving forward at highway speeds. i will be using a k20a3 ecu with my stock motor re flashed. if anyone knows or has a diagram on how to wire this switch to prevent this from happing let me know. thanks

You should be able to get that adjusted with your reflash i believe...

i dont think you can with the a3 ecu. im getting reflashed after trans and new a3 motor is back in.

I don't think it's possible based on what I had to do with my swap. I have z3 swap with a3 ecu w/ Kpro and didn't get the lock out, so chose to install a toggle switch for it.

@orlando, check out the k20a.org, I remember someone from NY/NJ posted that he had done number of them and said to pm him if the thread starter needed any help with it. I guess you just can't wait for the SIX SPEED? I don't blame you bro.

noo i cant wait haha. my flywheel came in today and so did my energy suspension inserts, my clutch master cylinder and so did my slave and clutch kit came in yesterday hahaha. im ready!

i go on that site so much guess i should sign up by now. ill take a look. btw you have a z3 trans or a2 trans with you z3 motor?

z3 w/ lsd, I think I'll be at the shop during the 2nd week of March. dude, that's lo~~~~~~~ng time to wait, LOL...

damn, that lookds really detailed stuff. Not sure if the layout/wiring would be identical though... Seems like you could wire upto the solenoid, some type of bypass wire/conncection leading upto the switch... I guess...
